In some peoples' lives' it takes an accident to create a change of direction.

In 1969 I was involved in a head-on car accident in Auckland.  Luckily the damage was moderate to severe strains, sprains and concussion.  The injuries were serious enough for me to consult David Duggan, a well-known Osteopathic and Naturopathic Physician.

I was so impressed with the results achieved from one initial treatment, that I made a major decision.

This was a life-change from Architectural work, to train first as a  Naturopath at the South Pacific College of Naturopathy, Ellerslie, Auckland, graduating in 1983 and then later to graduate as an Osteopath from the Osteopathic College of New Zealand in 1988.

In 1992 I continued my specialist training doing  a course in Cranio-sacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation  in Hawaii by the Upledger Institute, Florida, USA.

Another highlight in my career was in 1998 when I made the decision to train and specialise as a Health Coach with the "Innovative Practice Solutions" (IPS) in Brisbane.

Since then, it has been an ongoing process to upgrade my knowledge in Natural Health with post-graduate studies.
